Facing a $7 million payout to Livonia Leviston, a woman whose sex tape he posted online in 2009 as part of his feud with Rick Ross, 50 filed for a suspiciously-timed bankruptcy in 2015 that many viewed as an attempt to get out of paying. The year prior, he was ordered to pay $18.1 million to Sleek Audio, a company who won an arbitration settlement against the rapper for stealing their ideas for his own headphone line.
Now, that chapter of 50's career may finally be coming to an end. The Hartford Courant reports that on Wednesday, a judge signed off on the G-Unit general's Chapter 11 reorganization plan. 50 will have to make a $7.4 million initial payment, and agreed to pay his creditors between 74-92% of the money he owes them. The cash will come from the sale of his assets, including his infamous Connecticut mansion. The house has reportedly been sold for $8 million, and will become an assisted living facility.
The judge in the case remembered the timing of 50's filing, and specifically asked him while he was on the stand if he understood that he would have to pay Leviston the newly agreed fee of $6 million, even if he again filed for bankruptcy. As part of his bankruptcy filing, 50 claimed assets of $20 million against debts of $36 million.
The court documents, obtained by Forbes, show that the filing serves as a settlement between 50 and his three biggest credits – Leviston, Sleek, and SunTrust Bank, who holds the mortgage on the Connecticut house. Funds are supposed to come from three sources – cash on hand, sales of assets, and the broadly framed category "Cash generated or received by the Debtor after the Effective Date from any other source."

At this point, my relationship with Curtis is really amusing, due to the fact that I'm the biggest L he ever took. I'm still enjoying life. My kids love me. I'm blessed. And when it comes to Curtis, it's just unfortunate. I'm not happy that his boxing company went under. I'm not happy that his clothing company went under. I'm not happy his record label went under. I'm not happy that he went bankrupt. I'm not happy that he doesn't have a relationship with his son. That's not something to be happy about. But to see him parading around, still able to hold his head up every day, with all of that weighing on him — that makes me happy. I admire him for being able to hold his head up in a city that has revoked all of his passes. We've had a quite enjoyable past, and I still smile when I see him.
