Obvious what's coming, and the disinformation will be all over the Coli because mods won't do shyt. This is a blatant lie/disinformation, being spread by multiple black rappers. Coincidence? Nope.

It's already here. We've been watching people for 5 years at least on here repeating Russian/Republican talking points thinking they're the woke ones

Tariq's done everthing but get caught in bed with a Republican operative

They're also going to use resentment against women plus the Dems pandering to Black women and ignoring Black men

50% is overshooting it tho

Agreed, Few days ago I saw a bunch of tweets about student loan debt relief, and how it's a black issue because...black women have more student loan debt than other demos. I thought that was an odd claim so I looked it up. Turns out it's true that one year after graduating with a Bachelor's or master's, black women owe more. However black men were in second place, and we're not that much behind black women. For Bachelor's it's about a $3000 difference, and for graduate degrees it's almost 10k; so not much, and the difference would be covered by the $10,000 forgiveness Biden has proposed. Yet all the language about this is centered entirely on black women. Black women, black women, black women. Intersectionality. If you google "black women student loan debt" you'll not only see multiple articles, you'll see they often site academic research focused entirely on black women.

Point being, black men are an afterthought. And when we are getting attention academically it's either as a dead body via cops, or as an alleged oppressor who benefits from patriarchy. There is no message for us politically, academically...hell they don't even market shyt to us besides some alcohol or shoe ads during a basketball game. People recognize when they're being ignored and this is certainly something we could see play out politically. I agree it won't be 50%, and I would certainly NEVER advocate for black men to vote for the modern republican party. But I definitely think we are seeing a wedge being actively and deliberately driven between the genders and anything more than 15% of the black male vote going to the GOP will result in us being blamed for republicans winning.

It's blatant at this point and been going on strong

And you can't say anything about because then it's well so are you saying we shouldn't help Black women?

It's our turn!

But ppl always talk about political messaging, and then want to ignore a whole section of ppl while praising their counterparts

I'm just waiting for the tide to turn

I wonder did our parents see shyt like this, where blatant shyt just gets ignored and gaslight in the media

I feel like I've got a good reputation on this issue, I haven't jumped out the window or shat on most/many black women and tend to always throw out disclaimers: internet shyt is internet shyt, it doesn't really apply to real life. And I stand by all that. But like you said, this shyt is blatant. And outside of the internet it tends to show up in places that have impact: like academia and the media. So if we have black academics who are largely intersectional black feminists - who believe black men are oppressors and the black women are the marginalized group within the race that needs the most attention/help - how does that influence education policy? How does that influence how an intersectional black feminist teacher approaches black boys in her classroom? How does this impact the "influencers" who (white) corporations bring in to help them create programs like Wells Fargo's resources for black women small business owners? How does this influence how liberal politicians speak to black people - and who they approach first?

And that's where we get to the current situation, Steve Bannon, Trump, and all this other shyt. It's hard to tell a group of people they need to fall back, "we got this," ignore the fact that we're marginalized too, etc...and then say "don't forget you better vote the right way on Tuesday." That's just not a sustainable position....and I think the people who are instituting this stuff know it.

I swear to god I would spit in some of y’all faces talking this c00n shyt in real life, this shyt isn’t a game with these devils. How can some of us be this broken to ride with our very enemy :snoop:
