Say...yall really trying to push Busta Rhymes as a "street" artist?:mjlol:

Remember when Busta came outta nowhere and shytted on Ja Rule on Hail Mary....nikkas was :ohhh: cause that wasnt his lane AT ALL

he even said at the end of the record "ima return to my regular self...and have FUN again"

Busta was always a fun, party rapper....he's definitely better than Missy as an mc...he can jump on Never Scared and body it....he can jump on Ante Up and body it....but lets be reality...he's known for the same vibe and aesthetic as Missy. Dude intro'd her debut.

He's not jumping in versuz with mixtape and album cuts...he dropping Gimme Some More, What It Is, Dangerous, Touch It etc.

He would've matched up beautifully with Ludacris

and he wouldn’t have to, cause he has that many hits that resonates. I don’t even think Busta ever did a mixtape until probably 2014.

People are overrating Busta like crazy in here

Busta would definitely be formidable in a Verzuz, but people jumped the gun on all this "he's Nas and Jay level" as an MC or that he's this street artist.

Also, I wanted to speak on Missy going against another female in a Verzuz. There is NO female MC who could see Missy in a Verzuz because most of them would struggle to put up 20 songs. Nothing against female rappers, but they typically had short shelf lives. Missy has six successful solo albums. Most female rappers have 3 or less.

Like, Busta, Missy's a unique case and they make sense because they occupied the same lane. The only other match up that would make sense for Missy is Pharrell.

Busta's unique because he has tons of records, which would make him difficult to beat.

Yep. Busta and Missy have that same energy in their songs and stage presence, and it would really just be a celebration of both artists.

It's insulting to Busta to compare him to Missy. Only thing they got in common are they both got creative music videos. Busta is real an mc going back to early 90s and got hits from every era over his 30 year career. At one point he was on every remix of every hit record. Outside his own joints He got street anthems like ante up, classic 90s like atcq scenario and even modern pop records like look at me now.

Missy popped late 90s and early 2000's with the Timbo sound and that's it. Not even a 10 year run. She only got pop records and is a performer not an mc. Her live shows need 50 background dancers and pyrotechnics to work. She can't pull a Jada kiss and rock a crowd with just a mic and dj but Busta can. It would be a slaughter.
Thanks breh. I keep saying this shyt. I can’t for the life of me figure out why people want this
:mjlol:

Missy vs Pharrell needs to happen

I don’t think Busta should go against Missy. I think he will be too busy kissing her ass and not really trying to bust her ass like he would a man. I wanna see Busta try to absolutely destroy his competition on stage not bowing down as soon as she plays some soft ass hit records.

Breh, Leaders of the New School nor ATCQ is grimey Hip Hop. Missy is a direct descendant. She could still play any of her joints against those.

There's no misconception about them. Busta made fun music. Same with Missy. Lyricism was not draw for either of them even though Busta had lyrics. There's a reason why Busta Rhymes is slept on.
Missy would be severely limiting herself going toe to toe with Busta. Most of the classic shyt she’s been a part of was R&B. Busta is an MC. Missy is an artist. Put her up against another artist

Most of Missy's classics are not R&B. I think a lot of you really underrated Missy's rap music. Like if you put Missy against someone like Mary, Missy loses. Even if you put her against someone like Faith, it doesn't even out unless she plays music she wrote/produced for other artists.

All this is exactly why i said the perfect match up for her is Pharrell
