The sites projected this to sell under 24k the other day and be his lowest first week since Im Serious.....yet now they've taken all mentions of his projections off every site. That lets me know they're in panic mode and about to cover it up by erasing it from all the sites:umad:

Go look at any article about this week's projections. This is the only album not mentioned.

HITS Daily Double : Rumor Mill - NEW RELEASES: AAAAND THEY'RE OFF

Lil Baby & Gunna's "Drip Harder" First Week Sales Projections Have Arrived
:sas2:

Yeah, I was wondering about the numbers he'd do.

Explain how this is a flop. Where did he or his label say this was going to be monster success? Where are the hit songs pre-release?

T.I. hasn't dropped a proper album since 2014. His last project was a combination of two EP's which did similar numbers as this. He dropped Da Nic, which was an EP. His last album did 80K the first week back in 2014. What has T.I. done since that would rake in those kind of numbers and that album had two big hits. T.I. hasn't been a commercial juggernaut in a decade. He was selling over 500K the first week with Paper Trail. The last album of his that sold 500K total was 2012's Trouble Man.

The reason is TI because he signed back with a major label and been on a press run but is still doing independent numbers. He just doesn't have it rap wise because most dont look at him as a rapper and see him as a TV personality.

Jesus if ti only can do 24k

Ross and Jeezy gotta be like :whoa:

Wayne might outsell all them nikkas combined

They like the last big named artist from that era that can still maybe do numbers

That doesn't make it a flop. A flop is if he and his team had set up expectations that just weren't met. He didn't even have a date until the deal. A press run is typical of most artists even if they are independent.

This is more a flop than lupe even though lupe did like 5k.

why? because of tips past sales numbers and he is promoting the hell out of this album. but no one cares.

T.I. hasn't done hige numbers in adecade. You can't bring up Lupe and then claim he isn't a flop, but T.I. is when Lupe sold a fraction of what T.I. did.

Yall forget ageism plays a part as well for ti’s low sales. When you get a certain age your songs dont have as much pull on radio anymore.

Wayne sold well because carter 5 was anticipated for 5+ years.

This is the type of inbred dummy armchair A&R logic that makes this board look bad. Breh, none of us determine what a flop is. T.I. hasn't sold a significant amount of copies in quite sometime. Paper Work was a flop. It had two huge singles with Pharrell attached to it as executive producer and this was fresh off of "Happy" and after he and T.I. had just previously had "Blurred Lines" go #1.

This album was announced years ago. It just got a date two weeks ago. He dropped two singles that aren't big. And ya'll are in here bringing up a press run. Everybody does press runs.

That and the fact that Wayne was still selling near a million copies the first week with the last Carter. Wayne was still a high selling artist before the hiatus.
