Meh, average overall. Best thing about the album was the song which reminded me how damn smooth G'd Up is

Ive heard it front to back about 3 times already, this shyt is straight fire. His flow on hypno is so smooth :wow: and according to breakfast club interview "Family Connect" was produced by TIPs other son. Thats a hip hop first, a rapper going back and forth with his son on a beat produced by his other son :wow:

Nice to see OG veterans like Nas(47) and TIP (40) drop straight heat in 2020 proving a hip hop artist can still be revelant at an older age

it was good listen

man idk TI son rapping like that man. both him and TI killed the song
1 thing about it tho, ti son i didnt like his 1st verse, but the other was nice
might check out more from him

some of the features were really dope
Thugger, snoop, 21.
the 42 dugg dude verse was good. never really heard him other than the big sean friday cypher joint
mozzy dope verse

the pantone blue hook was a lil too dramatic at 1st imo, but it works for the song

I listened to the album a few more times and I enjoy it more. It would've been better if those Interludes and Ms. Pat were completely scrubbed from the album.

Top 5:
Pardon
Thank God
On The Hood
Make Amends
We Did It Big

I still like Trouble Man, Paperwork, No Mercy, and Dime Trap more though :yeshrug:.

Finally listened to the whole thing. There’s a couple trendier sounding stuff on here that I obviously won’t listen to again, but overall I mess with it, especially for this stage of his career. Thank God, How I Feel, Family Connect, Make Amends, 1/2 A Ticket, Moon Juice, Respect The Code, and On The Hood are all nice. T.I. and Killer Mike killed “How I Feel” even though some of the lyrics contradicted how they reacted during the protests. His son on “Family Connect” was pretty good. Sounded like Lil Yachty if Yachty didn’t slur, was audible, and didnt sound like he was breathing heavily.

The first three tracks were flames to me but everything after was dull

I’ll spin it again in a few weeks
