I can tell which posters was little kids when Tmac was smashing shyt in Orlando because if you saw Tmac back then you would agree with this no questions asked...Tmac was right there with Kobe at one point even seemed to be better than Kobe at some points

Exactly.

I honestly can't take dudes opinions seriously if they think anyone in the league today could see T-Mac as a scorer. I know Kobe got a lot of haters simply because of his stature in NBA history. All the top guys get hate. But a guy like T-Mac should have no haters that are unnecessarily gonna knock him.

Anyone that actually watched him play in his prime knows he's arguably the most talented wing player in NBA history. He's the only guy who is Kobe and Jordan's peer as a pure scoring talent IMO. And the thing that made him so incredible was how effortless he made it look.

Your argument was that TMac was a significantly better scorer than LeBron...and apparently all that amounts to is 1 more point on worse efficiency when comparing their peak scoring seasons.

Leave the basketball talk to nikkas who knows the game stat nerd.

Only a dumb ass cac would say something this stupid. T-Mac is a much better scorer than LeBron could ever dream to be. Even LeBron if he was here would tell you that.

I don't care about numbers. Harden handles the ball every play and is surrounded by guys who have no skill other than shooting and playing defense. Obviously in D'Antoni's system he'll put up numbers in any era.

I'm talking about mano y mano playoff matchup basketball. James Harden doesn't rate on that scale when compared to the shooting GAWDs that played in the early 2000s when T-Mac was at his peak. In the early 2000s you're looking at Kobe, T-Mac, Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, and Ray Allen every other night. Kobe, T-Mac, and Vince would all have made James Harden look silly in a playoff matchup head to head.

James Harden is simply a black Steve Nash on steroids. Nice crafty guy with good skill that is benefiting from a watered down era of NBA basketball (especially at the SG position).

T-Mac needs to be the humblest dude ever.

I loved him, but, let's chill. He was great, but, it didn't last that long.

Lowkey, he's be tall Demar Dorozen. He was a bit of a tall chucker.

Even I'm getting a lil tired of the older cats saying this. And I love low post, lower scoring ball.

He's not lying though.

After the amount of times you have been shown to be wrong on this board the fact that you puff up your chest with confidence to claim this is HILARIOUS

KD, Harden, Curry and LeBron all could do it too.

They choose not to because they know it isn't winning basketball.
they choose not to because they have actual all-stars playing alongside them in their prime :dead:

you think mcgrady is out there throwing his spine out in orlando if he's got westbrook or wade next to him instead of mike miller and drew gooden?

This thread is unintentional comedy

:dead: @ "T mac is a taller demar derozan"
:dead: at calling James harden "undersized and overweight"

With that said I agree that he would be a beast in this less physical more skilled focused era.

Yes.

You lil kids really don't know what real ball players look like if you thought those 4 names are something special.

You missed out not seeing the NBA of 2000-2004. That was basketball at its PEAK.

Breh Im well over 30, Im not kid. Im actually a T-Mac/Penny stan defending him in this thread:mjlol:

I just think there's more talent especially in terms of perimeter players and the game evolved. 2000-2004 is a tough time to defend.
Its in that weird post MJ/post lockout but pre-Lebron,/Wade/Melo Nash Suns era where the Eastern Conference was dire and you has slow plodding games.

Dont get me wrong, there's a lot of greatness from that era I appreciate (The Kings, Shaq/Kobe, KG, AI, Mac, Pierce, The 04 Pistons and 03 Spurs) but overall its kind of a lull period compared to the era before it and after, thats all.

Nah..he did great numbers for a minute. He definitely matched Kobe's with ease but he wasn't playing with Shaq..so there was a ceiling for all of that.
