How is that different from selling your phone? If I paid $800 for a phone last year and selling it for $400 today then I basically paid $400 to use that phone for a year.
I just don't think it's worth upgrading a phone year after year anymore :ld:

In the first few years you had to worry about getting faster phones because the hardware was behind. The hardware is not behind anymore, LTE is standard on every carrier. Any flagship released in the past 2-3 years shouldn't feel sluggish, hell midrange phones are decent today.

It's call in for preordering and then you have to give the phone back in store once you relieve the preorder which I have no issue with. My job is right by a T-Mobile store and so is where I live
oh ok, last yr was my first yr doing it with Tmobile and it was a mess, site didnt work so I just went tot he store when it opened and still my phone the monday after it released opposed to friday. I hope tmobile steps it up because when I had Verizon it worked like a charm pre ordering.

That's what he's missing, you only "own" the phone at the end of 2 years, but you're going to upgrade before that because they know that's what people do. And once they have you on the cycle you better believe the price of their service will go up next year, and the year after.

Do people think these companies are in the business of losing money? They want you to do this for a damn reason.

The biggest problem is the price on these phones. 600 plus for a phone, bruh that's gaming PC prices :mjlol:

I'm only gonna pay 250-300 this time around cause I see the 1gb ram phones are gonna be obsolete in 6 months.

But after this year they can't really upgrade phones any faster cause they done caught up to pcs so we budget phone nikkas bout to eat :smugfavre

I will never understand the obsession with upgrading every year anymore.

Years ago I understood it because of the spec bumps, but we are literally at a point of diminishing returns on this shyt.
I don't get the shyt either. I copped the 6 because it finally was made big then I gave the shyt to my wife and went back to Android :mjlol:

I remembered when I pre ordered the Note 4 7 days before it came out...they shipped it to me two days before it hit the store that Friday. #TMob been REAL GOOD to me...insurance just $10 for anything that goes wrong? Can't lose...don't even know how to lose:laugh:
