Have had Sprint since 2011 and I keep saying every year I need to leave.

what does this mean for t mobile customers 
I pay $60 a month for unlimited everything after taxes and fees with 10GBs of mobile hotspot data. I'm not leaving that. I been with Sprint for 17 years straight.

Merge for what exactly? Why? 
It's not like it matters Sprint wasn't gonna be around much longer anyway without this. Sprint was in dire financial straights. Them continuing on into 5G was probably unlikely. So not T-Mobile gets to take Sprint's spectrum and pick over the company and Sprint will die but the shareholders and everyone else gets a giant payday on it's death.
I have unlimited but the service is spotty as hell.
