real estate is for non multi millionaires billionaires who want to give their kids something to build. if you got 40 million you should just be putting it in boring ass financial instruments and living on the interest. 1% of 40 million is 400k!

I absolutely agree with you, however... 400k isn't enough for these guys to flex the way they'd want to. They see their (probably financially irresponsible) peers' lifestyle and think, "yeah I'm doing that too".
Part of me is sympathetic as well because the culture in music sets these guys up to fail. When the theme is opulence and decadence... Imagine how hard it must be to create records all day that talk about blowing a band every second on these hoes, and then going home to look at your Vanguard account

But if the very act of giving advice is looked down upon as "hating" or "watching other people's pockets"... Then keep your sob stories.
