Dudes always do these collabo albums when their careers fall off. It would be dope to see someone do it while they're still at their peak. Pete Rock was just talking about how he's trying to do a whole album with AZ, 22 years after they did "Rather Unique"! Why not do the shyt when you're at your best? Nobody cares anymore. Seems like dudes are just trying to survive at this point.

The album was supposed to come out at the peak of popularity for both of the artists.
They made it, and it got shelved. He's just releasing it.
Album probably would have gone platinum if they'd released it back in the day.
