i don't get the t-pain hate because all he did was come in this game, make a few catchy club jams and even helped a number of artists out with their music (lil wayne, chris brown, e-40, jaime foxx, and especially kanye. t-pain's influence for 808's and heartbreak alone speaks volumes)

was the music deep or anythin'? no

but all music ain't meant to be deep or conscious. sometimes some music serves the purpose of just bein' catchy, havin' fun and dancin' to it

with all that said; stevie wonder, kraftwerk, herbie hancock on the vocoder and roger troutman on the talkbox >>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> t-pain on autotune

Yea that song in no way was a "big-up" to T-Pain:heh:
shyt took his soul.
And Autotune literally hasn't gone anywhere, it was T-Pain using it that people got tired of. That's gotta hurt.
But I'm sure he's good financially.

Funny how hov waged war on autotune and didn't bat an eye at all the destructive coke raps that were on the airwaves at the same.

I guess autotune was more of a pressing issue than rappers glorifying drugs and violence

why would a former coke dealer, who reminded you he was a coke dealer for 12 straight albums....care about people rapping about drugs?

this is Jay-Z we're talking about :heh:

im sure the way people turned on him but not on autotune hurt his soul a little, you can hear it in his interviews. but im also sure he has enough money to wipe away those tears.

He popularized it, everyone jumped on his nuts, Jay threw him under the bus, every shytted on him for being played out while still using it, now Ye releasing lead single with nothing but it, but he can't do it without getting hated on even though he did it better then everyone :mjcry:
