I had been on this in my mind; in the 90s, almost anywhere was a dangerous time to walk if it gets dark. However, because of that, men had to use that to build up character. You had to act tough for your own survival, not just to prove a point. If I was in the 90s, had my own clique and we carried pocket blades, brass knuckles, or a bat to walk around with, I'd be cool.
