All Star
Just wanted to clear up something for anybody who already took time to read my post above. In the last paragraph near the end, I meant to say the cacs respect me more when I'm with another brother, not the non-Whites. That one error could mess up the entire post.
Btw, I've notice some of these so-called sisters down here are beginning to play the same games cacs play on us when we're alone. I'm not sure if that's going on in other cities or not, but I think it is. I kinda felt that in the DMV last time I was up there. There was a thread here the other day about Neely Fuller Jr, and I brought up his book that speaks about how Whites operate on code to uphold White Supremacy. Well, I'm starting to see a few Black women down here joining them. I sure don't want to have to become somebody I'm not. Then again, I've heard a few sisters trying to leave the ATL because they don't want to become jerks like some many others have...and I feel them. The shyt is real.
Speaking of overcharging brothers on rape allegations, Atlanta was the place that Brian Nichols killed those four people while escaping the court room in 2005. He was being charged again for raping his girlfriend, when the first trial ended in a mistrial. That was a very popular story. It happened about a year before I came down. I swear, I was so disgusted with the DMV, that I didn't even read the whole entire story. I didn't even know about a mistrial. I'm not sure if I even knew he was being charge for raping his girlfriend. I thought it was some domestic violence issue. All I knew was he killed four people working in the judicial system as he escaped, and he had the whole U.S. hating him. Man, working that IT job around all those cacs and toms in the DMV sure had me dumbed down. With those trumped up rape charges, no wonder my real estate agent asked me why was I moving here. Either that was the reason, or it was because of the gay population, which I thought was mostly in DC and SF and the time...smh. Get a chance, read up on Brian Nichols. He was a young former security guard from B-more who came to the ATL with two years of college, and got involved with some shyt with his supposedly recent ex-girlfriend. Now I see how easy a brother can get jammed down here, and it seems to get easier.
Btw way, Brian Nichols defense was he snapped, and thought he was escaping a slave plantation. Coming from the North, and being here for a minute, it can feel that way sometimes I guess. If you think about how police originated from slave catchers, then he was telling the truth.
