black men dying from homicide at 8-10x that of their counterparts and the culture of death having black women die at the same rate as white men when every other demographic of women will be less than all men
Why? Cause obviously it was higher before hip hop so u can’t blame that. So break down the reasons why. What happened in the country to cause this? Or do u think this shyt just happened by accident?

To me it’s really looking like one of their own security tried to pop someone in the crowd for a simple punch and killed takeoff…this is some complete senseless stupid shyt.
What's crazy is if you watch the video where dude's foot pivots because people think it's a punch, you can hear the first gunshot before the dude's foot pivots like that or it's nearly at the same exact time as the pivot.

I actually think that guy is trying to move out the way from a brandished gun and that's why his footwork went all crazy.

8-10x for men but Black children and teens are 14 times more likely than white children and teens of the same age to die by gun homicide.

it wasn't higher before hip hop...hip hop debuted in 1979 and matured in the mid-late 80's. the lines for 24 and under end higher than where they started in 1975. and i have not been in here blaming hip hop, i have blamed our community for how nikkas in hip hop move.

and you tell me why black men, people, are victims of homicide at rate 7-10x others?

It's not normal because it's been that way since the beginning, what he's saying is the issue is runs pretty deep in this country
and linking it to Hip-Hop or some kind of faulty culture that only black people have isn't the best take whatsoever and in many
ways it serves to reinforce white supremacist views (That our culture is lesser and this is why Blacks the world over are suffering!)

It was literally designed this way structurally, economically, legally etc etc from the beginning. The country was literally built this way. Even down to the architecture. Govt assistance. All of it. This shyt was DESIGNED this way. From the beginning.

I'm not linking it to Hip Hop, my critique of Hip Hop is that it is largely anti-Black (because it is)

A culture that celebrates and promotes the deaths of Black people is faulty. Hip Hop as we know it today literally serves to reinforce white supremacist views, it's an evolution of Blackface.

The graph I posted was from 1980-2015. So it was a year after 1979. Look atvthe graph I posted. It shows a peak in the 80's.

What are you suggesting, that this is somehow normal because that's the way it has been since the beginning?

:patrice:
What I’m saying is u been in this anti hip hop crusade when the issue is FAR more deep rooted. Hip hop is literally a RESULT of this shyt I’m talking about. Not the CAUSE.

economics yes, but what structurally....and legally 🙄... is causing young black men to pull the trigger on other young black men?

structural - are guns built into the walls of their homes?

legally - is there a law that states black men must kill someone or face banishment?

break it down as to why when you control across income, we are killing at a higher clip than poor asians, latinos and whites?

People have to stop blaming hip-hop/rap everytime a rapper gets killed. It's a very lazy take.

Joey was a performing art school kid his moms was his manager early he was signed to Cinematic shyt was funny behind the scenes with Capital Steez he came out of nowhere on the NY hip-hop scene it wasn’t really a gradual organic build up and he didn’t have a body of work. 1999 and the videos just dropped and he was on with the blogs. Joey was presented as the star when it was supposed to be a collective. Johnny Shipes is behind him

I fukk with Joey tho and there’s nothing wrong with being a plant especially if you got talent that’s how it should be labels should go back to that approach
You stay spewing bullshyt, Joey is far from a plant. I know folks close to him, he's been grinding for YEARS.
