Yes that's so true. It's like black men have to get extra aggressive with other black men all the time. I saw that on full display Sat night at the Benny the butcher show.

When you walked into the venue(at deep ellum) there were some BSF dudes selling merchandise and some white dudes were buying shirts and those BSF dudes were smiling and being very cordial to the white dudes.

I was with my girl but I recognized some real certified street dudes I personally knew there. One of the black street dudes asked the BSF guy if they were selling vinyls, that's all he asked, he wasn't aggressive or nothing with the question. The BSF dude gave him a passive aggressive answer. Street dude took it as disrespect and all night I knew some shyt was gonna pop off because Dude was making calls and that building was heavy outside with them dudes and lot came in and they were all huddled up, it was a long ass show and you could feel the tension in the air.

Finally someone from Benny's camp went and talked to the dude who felt disrespected and went backstage to chop it up with benny but it was just a lesson that the slightest things can cost you your life quickly if it gets out of hand and I'm sure benny was hyper sensitive to it because he had already got shot in Houston but Dallas is different because it can lure you in like LA and then all of sudden you getting ran down on and never see it coming.

Just wish we had more respect for life and each other.
