Whatever the argument was over couldn't have possibly led to a shootout. Ain't no way you can see that footage and think anyone's life was in danger, yet when a couple of men get in an argument the guns are at the ready? This isn't hip-hop's fault. This is conflict resolution at its worst. This is shyt that happens every time the weather gets nice in a city over a weekend. I just wish someone, anyone woulda looked at anyone reaching and been like "ayo tf u doing? Put that shyt away it ain't even that serious." It might not have made much of a difference if the shooter was high out of his mind, but cooler heads have to prevail. Even if Takeoff doesn't get hit, now everyone's on edge any time someone goes to Houston and why? Because some idiot was trigger happy?
Just one of those things where you wanna relive it knowing you coulda handled everything differently. Unfortunately I just don't see this being a teachable moment because Americans love 3 things: drugs, guns and being in their feelings.
