Hanging em up
This thread maybe in top 5 woat. Wtf is going on? With that said no way his own people hit him 3 times. This was intentional clearly!!!
Quavo is gonna be going through survivors guiltIf that’s true Quavo gonna be going thru it for a long ass time, if not the rest of his life.
Can’t imagine how Offset feels either.
Rappers are dying at a higher rate than normal citizens? nikka are u serious? And hell no I ain’t Republican what the fukk do that gotta do with anything. Like I said. Download the citizens app then holla at me. Cause u have no idea wtf u talking about or what’s going on outside.
Breh, do you know crazy this sounds?
Rappers are not dying at a rate disproportionately to normal citizens. Do you know how many citizens actually die as a victim of homicide daily? Compare that to the number of rappers. They don't die at a higher rate. There is no data that supports that claim. If so, show me. People are killed daily doing regular, everyday activities.

The streets dictate what’s cool and what’s pop cultureand this is what's wrong with hip hop culture...i am not on the side of saying hip hop created the violence, but it's an art form where a good half-3/4 of the artists are judged by how much they're in the streets, and are expected to be and encouraged to be in the streets....even many of the "squares" have had to mix and mingle and/or prove how hard they are on wax.
it's the only genre where fans (and the artists)for dudes beating other crews down, being ten toes down on the block, etc after getting on. nah, how about we clap for them not coming back. if you're not in the area for an intentionally positive reason (even then, some of these rappers know they shouldn't be back in their hometowns), then just dont go. there's more ways to have fun away from the hood/hood nikkas than there are in the hood

Trying to figure out why without accepting that the culture is toxic...damn breh, your head must be hurting like a mf from all the thinkingThe original argument was that these killings are just happenstance and that the artist died at everyday locations. So which is it?
Rappers are dying at a disproportionately higher rate than normal citizens. And way higher than other celebrities while we’re at it. You really just sound like a Republican saying that gun violence happens everyday so what are we gonna do about it?
The exact same logic applies to Beyoncé or Rihanna. Or Ari Lennox or fukkin Lizzo idc. My point is that rappers within a specific sub-section of hip-hop are more exposed to being victims of violence, even when they’re doing nothing wrong. Like I said, Dolph was getting cookies, XXX was shopping at a motor sports store. Pop Smoke was in his home. They weren’t doing anything that warranted or deserved violence.
You’re saying that violence happens everyday to everyday people, so we should just chalk it up to bad luck. But what happens when rappers are victims of violence at a way higher rate than your average person, artist, celebrity, etc?
To be clear, I’m not over here saying all hip-hop is toxic, or the culture is toxic. Because I don’t think that’s true. But we’re seeing a different rapper killed every month or so now it feels like. It didn’t feel like this even 10 years ago. I’m trying to figure out why? Because I hate it.

lol alright bet, let’s back up and take normal citizens out of it, cause y’all are right people die everyday. And they also don’t exactly do studies on per capita rapper murders compared to civilians. And yall asked for data.
So let’s look at musicians as a whole, that’s more equal, all these guys are celebrities, public figures, etc.
Go head and give this social study a scan ( link ). It covers mortality rates of artists across genres of music. You can take whatever from it you like, but scroll down to the graph titled The main cause of death for musician by genre. From that data, homicide as cause of death ranges from 6-10% across different genres of music. In the rap/hip-hop category, homicide accounts for 51% of all deaths.
That really seems normal / nothin to see to yall?
Rappers are victims of violence at a much higher rate than other musicians / public figures. And I don’t like it. That’s my whole point. If yall wanna argue w/ that then go talk to a wall.
In his post he's telling whoever did it to turn himself in.I don't believe for a second that he doesn't know by now who fired the fatal shot

village idiotRight now that’s all anyone has got to go off tho, Takeoff would surely want his fans trying to figure out what happened to him, can’t blame people for wanting to figure the shyt out even if it’s going off some grainy shytty videoYea shyt wild annoying … nikkaz always doing this nonsense

Think this is the one that's gonna get people talkin. So if there is anything remotely positive to take out of this senseless death, it's that.

Current theory:
someone with a yellow hoodie tried to snatch Takeoffs chain...
...Takeoffs man saw it and went to shoot the chain snatcher but may have hit Takeoff
(its also possible the person in the yellow hoodie shot Offset)
you can actually see it kind of clear in this video
they found buddies IG
I *think* he went private during the stream
Breh I can see your blood pressure going up reading each word in this postThey were at a bowling alley party. Young Thug’s BM got shot and killed at a bowling alley as well. Bunch of people was shot in killed in Harlem this summer at a BBQ celebrating. How many people get shot and killed at movie theaters? U seen when people got shot and killed in Vegas at that hotel I believe? Getting shot and killed at the club. Getting shot and killed at the supermarket. Getting shot and killed at the mall. Getting shot and killed at school. Getting shot and killed at CHURCH. Getting shot and killed on the train and subway platform. Getting shot and killed on the bus. Getting shot and killed while driving. Getting shot and killed while leaving their house. Getting shot and killed IN THIER HOUSE by strays. Excuse me genius. Where is it safe to go?
