Nah it has some awkward bars (Do not bark up that tree, that tree will fall on you) but overall it was very surgical and precise and said everything about Nas' place in hip-hop at the time. I know Nas had to have been heated when he heard it.
In hindsight Jay's biggest mistake was not getting nasty. If he had dropped that Carmen shyt on Takeover it would have been over.

Nas went low and Jay panicked and hurriedly released Supah Ugly. As far as I'm concerned, it barely qualifies as a song. And By the time Blueprint 2 rolled around, it was too late. He seemed bitter and devoid of confidence.
