Hmm... we'll see.... If Sting can go one, continue to have great matches, get treated with ultimate respect and possibly a championship reign then yes... He shouldve never went to TNA (tho he was only working like less than 100 times a year and making a nice salary pretty much doing what Brock is being praise by doing).

But if dude is made a mockery and joke like they did with Steiner, DDP, Booker, Goldberg and pretty much every other former WCW wrestler that came after the buyout (might as well include ECW guys too).... then he made the right decision. Some people the E really did right by and made respectable legends out of, others, they completely ruined their brand forever.

I think the better question to ask is have the people that constantly to occasionally shyt on them why do they do so?

These guys at a time when wrestling was really hot were on the same level as say a Rock, Austin, etc back in 97-99.

I remember at one time Goldberg was easily the hottest star in the business, yes he did beat Brock at WMainia.... but lets not forget and act like it wasnt political cuz Vince was mad he was leaving to pursue a pipedream for the NFL which everyone knew damn well he wasnt going to make. Brock was the youngest champ in the E, but to erase that, later Orton was hotshotted to be a champ to replace Brock on that page in the E history books.

Moving along, DDP instead of being respected as a big star he was, they made him a sick stalker then a corny motivational speaker.

Booker was a 5 time champion and legit respected wrestler, but they chose to knock him down some pegs to be a 3rd tier coward character running from Austin and making funny faces then teaming with Goldust, a character who was destined to never go anywhere. Yes he later on finally became a champ but it was their 2nd tier belt (which to be honest was not only lower than the Raw belt back then but the IC title respect wise) that they were just giving to anyone like girl scout cookies (Khali was a champ). Steiner too wasnt booked right.

Truth be told, if they wouldve treated these guys with the same respect of the legacy they built from their WCW history... they couldve made soooooooo much money with them and had some nice dream matches... but instead its like each one got devalued in some specific way and now when people look at "oh who were they best wrestlers of the past X amount of years" since these guys arent taken seriously they get ignored.

Vader is another guy that I think shouldve NEVER been in the E.

This dude was a legit monster and true credible world champ. Had some classic feuds/matches with Sting, Flair, Cactus Jack, etc but just was ruined after he went over.

Whenever they show highlights of Bookers E history, its always jokes and him being cornballish or some would say "c00nish" (a popular word here on thecoli). One of his biggest highlights is jobbing to HHH and even recently he was just embarrassed and disrespected to prove a point with no chance on ever getting his "come upance"


In WCW, did was a serious world champ and a true ass kicker, he was cool, tough, respectable, and someone it really felt good rooting for. He was someone you could be proud of and laugh with, not at.

He was so much more than "a spinarooni guy".

Even when he was a heel, he was a tough mean bad guy, not this cowardly guy he came to become.
