I think everyone watching at home and those that attended pretty much knew this was his last match.

Nah... I see alot of taker haters on this site that say he should have retired a long time ago and all that shyt. But there are fans who never want to see it end and are still hoping he'll come back one more time like always. Plus they always rumor it to be his last go and he always comes back...

I'm not a Taker hater but he should have been retired. His last few appearances the past few years have been hard to watch. Last night's match was really hard to watch. Plus what happened after the match (including kissing his wife. He rarely breaks kayfabe) pretty much confirms that he's done.

Yeah but before the match we didn't think he was done.

If he beats Brock his matches wouldn't come off as so bad imo

Definitely time, thank god. It was getting harder and harder to watch. The rumble this year, and this match especially.

When they were fukking up the tombstone spot, I actually clicked away from the screen. Couldn't watch that shyt. His career was legendary, but as a huge fan of his, I can't help but feel like there were much better ways / times for him to retire.

After Taker stood up for his applause, the lights should have hit as he fell to his knees.

The Druids theme should have sounded and they should surrounded the ring, placed Taker into a casket and it should have been wheeled away up that ramp.

Forget all this kissing your wife big Mark. Big homie needed to keep kayfabe to the end.

That being said, it was time for him to call it a day and I actually enjoyed the match, sans the Tombstone botch.
