Man watched the ending over randomly on Dailymotion, didn't realize how much the crowd was vested in this USA vs Canada angle was. Rare instance where you see fans throwing trash in disgust of a heel winning in a WWF match. Too bad the USA vs Canada angle didn't get the proper end it should've gotten. Wish WWE did some nore intricate and sophisticated angles
I think Vince goes overboard with the USA vs the world angles.
To me, Bret always carried the Canada angle 2nd to whatever his issue was with who he was feuding.
The crowds week to week were insane
When to would go to Canada the crowd never stopped roaring anytime Bret was in the ring and than the same in America for Austin
The original plan for WM 14 was gonna be the final blowoff with Hart vs Austin 2
But we know how that ended
