almost every black girl there had a white boy in tow ... they all also had natural hair

might've been one of few black couples there

they had two separate stages.. one alternative/rock, another was a hip-hop DJ stage which was lit AF... reminded me of the brooklyn hip-hop festival... normal city cats

don't get me wrong though, i was def on my flow at some of the fukkery, but overrall it was dope

dare say anything has changed?



I'd really like to go but if there were just a sea of c00ns and bedwenches everywhere I looked I would just entirely regret paying 50 dollars for the ticket.

I bet these same c00ns and "natural hair" afropunks are "pro-black" too.

Negro stop lying. I've gone for the past 2 years and you know damn well there are more black couples out there than others. Most look like this

Saw a hand full of the Chescaleigh type , but mostly there were groups of tumblr looking black folks hanging out together. Mind you, I was there with my natural fam, too and we don't do yts. The DJ spot in the front is the best, but not when Lianne La Havas and Valerie June were on stage

You should go visit Brownsville and East new york the people will great very well. Oh and go to South Bronx its nice this time of year. lol

I have family who live in yonkers...i am not oblivious to the bad neighborhoods.

Brooklyn's is going to be a zoo this weekend bruh. They having Hennypalooza and SummerSlam at the same time as Afropunk so there's gonna be an epidemic of hipsters and drunk people.

Just walked the neoghborhood i an staying..lots of black people but definitely need more grocery stores and black businesses.

All these deli/convenience stores is why so many people are so unhealthy.

Grocery stores arr so few and far in between most food places consist of fast food/deli/convenience stores.


The architecture of many buildings are beautiful although many have not
