Taking Olive Oil everyday?

Someone told me it's good to Drink 1 - 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil daily to get lean and it is a healthy Fat. Any inputs on this?

Like everything it depends

I recently had to redo my whole diet to lower my cholesterol, and after a few days I realized I was getting NO dietary fats. So I started to dip my toast in olive oil and measured it out to get the right amount.

But if your diet is already high in fat, adding more fat is probably not a good idea.

And olive oil won't help you "get lean".
