You have to be an idiot for some shyt like that to happen. I ride in NYC and hit some pretty bad potholes, the bike always sorts itself out. Plus if you ride at a speed appropriate for the road + conditions you won't get into a speed wobble like the dude.

It's real when you're riding a bike. You have to pay attention to your surroundings at all times. And even then, that may not be enough. I lost my cousin when he had his motorcycle accident.

I'm tempted to buy a bike but I'd rather go for a chopper type. Sports bikes these days are too damn fast, and with all that power you're tempted to cut loose.
A good friend of mine crashed his Ducati 749 once. He wasn't even going that fast, but he broke his wrist and a few fingers, dislocated his knee, and messed up his neck pretty bad.
6 years of physical therapy and chiropractic treatments later and he still has neck pains, and has to sleep in weird positions to avoid the pain.
