Pretty much everybody in this thread says Tales from the Borderlands is better: Do You Still Fukks With Telltale Games?



Both are incredible games, but brehs, which one reigns supreme? Which had the better story (and best episode between the two), characters, soundtrack, and gameplay? Which one had a bigger impact on YOU?

This is not a Telltale vs Dontnod thing or anything like that (i'm sure it will turn into that though )

Tales from the borderlands is janky on a technical level. Stutters and long load times make it a chore to play like all telltale games.

Beyond that I think the story and music of Life is Strange was great. The impact of some of the decisions and feeling real regret for fukking some of them up was something I've rarely felt in playing a video game.

Borderlands was entertaining, but that's about it. Probably my least favorite telltale game.

i didn't like the "finding everything" in Life is Strange.
i only played the first season, my girl played all of it.

when i played The Walking Dead, i didn't have to stop and look at every corner to find something.

i have not played Tales from the Boarderlands...yet.

Life is Strange has better gameplay, way more impactful moments and more soul. But right now Im fresh off finishing Borderlands, which ends so strong with its final episode. LiS, not so much. And you can't deny how good Borderlands's dialogue and character performances are. Right now I'm going with Borderlands.

You're spot on about both games. I liked Life is Strange's final episode, and the ending but

If you chose to destroy Arcadia Bay (which i did) THIS, is the ending i will go by. Whoever this person is who created this started recently modding and releasing video's of Life is Strange. They even created a extra park level. Check them out
