I played the game with jap subs so I missed a lot of the after battle banter.

Fair trade off for vastly improved voice acting. My nikka dolahim sounds like a whole bytch in english

This final dungeon is insufferable. Not gonna finish this game today.

Enemies that were bosses before running around as normal enemies that are damage sponges and the framerate falls into the teens in these fights. Also it's very long with several forced fights.

Fr, they fat. I'm going out of way to fight less encounters.

This third lord still whooping my ass though I gave up after a couple tries last night and went to bed. I'm usually doing fine until he hits with that charging attack, but I can't seem to get the timing right to block it with the shield chick.



Doesn't help that they threw me into the fight when I was low on items/money and no store nearby

Did you not just use the lil heal spot just before the fight? They provide one before pretty much every boss fight. I'm sure there's one that shows up before fighting 3rd lord.

Also, you can dodge into his charge attack too and get you a free counter attack strike. For any charge attacks, I find dodging into them (dodging forward, as opposed to backwards/sideways) is the easy way to trigger perfect dodge.

I got the heal spot, but my items were mad low so I backtracked to the last checkpoint so I could buy some more life bottles and when you go the 2nd time the heal spot is gone.

Didn't think of dodging forward, I'll have to try that usually I try to dodge sideways but his charge comes out so fast it's easy to miss when you dodge left or right or dodge too soon.

Yeah, seems that you have. IIRC, the quest doesn't open until you've completed the guy's first request. I think it was the guy that asks you to ask around the town to see what the town needs to improve Cysloden.

nah, these bosses ain't even challenging in a fun way - they're straight up draining.

and even if YOU ain't getting slapped around you're still gonna burn through all the CP and a stack of items just keeping teammates alive. and its not like you can just let them die either because they're required for disabling attacks

these long ass dungeons with no camps later on are tiresome too

Game still fun and fresh as hell to me. Im enjoying all the characters' playstyles and most boss battles have been managable.

I think the fact that I'm taking my sweet ass time and I have a full time gig and other shyt to keep me away from the game for extended periods of time is the reason my interest in this game is still so high

Also the permanent stat bonuses you get with the costume packs are OD as well
I just wish there was a faster way to farm SP, hopefully that changes near the end game.
