Never forget how proud I was when The Blast made no.1 on Rap City's Countdown 10. That video was beautiful: Talib and Tek on the project bench in the rain...I remember how it all started:ohlawd:

Classic album

Where the hell is Hi-Tek at anyway?

he might still have paperwork with Babygrande Records, which is a hellhole

he got really discouraged after they put together Hi Technology 3 without his consent. that was basically loose tracks that were put together by the label. he tweets but its rarely about music

:mindblown: The album is aging so well! I think its time that people re-evaluate their initial impressions, and in retrospect give it the "classic" designation it so richly deserves. Its a treasure of an album. I think its much better than the blackstar album, personally.

Definitely a classic. I played this album nonstop in 11th grade. That two year period between 10th grade and 11th grade was like pro-black euphoria for the ears. We had:

Dead Prez "Let's Get Free"
Mos Def "Black On Both Sides"
Common "Like Water For Chocolate"
Reflection Eternal "Train of Thought"

My nappy fro was in full effect. Going to school like
