i would actually give salutes to the taliban but their ultra religious rulings etc are just way off and furthermore disgusting.

No breh both the Greeks and the Romans made it to Afhganistan and fought the locals. Greece even made it Punjab and Rome supposedly fought a skirmish with a Chinese garrison near Afhgan territory. Theres even ancient Greco-Roman Buddhist statues in the area.
