I stopped having discussions with white people on those topics in college. They either think they understand someone's struggle and talk over that person or completely ignore/devalue it. I almost think empathy is a thing that can be bred out.

You mentioning the "down" cac kinda downplays the direction u were going with this topic. If dicussing race and social topics is such an issue with white folks it looks a lil off you then turning around and defending the one assimilating liberal white guy who co signs your talking points. Especially when u purposely left out the "down" white guy who was co signing you. Liberals have a history of positioning themselves so that Black folks can single them out as "good white folks" and here you are repeating history.

what in the fukk are you talking about, im not defending no cac, I just mentioned one of the participants who argued some of the points(and really it was no more than just 1 or 2 of them he rebuttled against, so he was not that relevant in discussion ) of from the cacs who happened to be white himself. and Im not saying "down" white folks to mean good, im using it as a term(as many do here on the coli) to mean whites who like to act like they understand black experience/not come off racist/etc
