If you're tall and you don't keep reaffirming your height do you lose inches or something? Cause this seems kinda insecure the way threads about height keep getting made.

Shrinking is very common when you get older.....
Especially in women....my aunt was 5'0 when she passed last year, and was 5'4 like my mom in her prime.

99% of people have extremely shytty and unfulfilling lives. if someone wants to feel good about something they didn't work for, don't take it personally cuz chances are they don't have much else going on. 
i'm not tall. not bitter about it but it does suck. gotta play life with the hand i was dealt.

Exactly, never even knew height was a big deal before coming here. Only thing being tall meant was likely being an athlete, didn't think had much to do with dating success.

lol. @ thinking people know they real height. nikkas be like i was 5'6 in 9th grade that must mean im like 6'2 now cuz i graduated. only on the coli is everyone 6'2+. do you know how rare actual 6'2+ is? i legit went to the doctor and got my height measured and im 5'10 barefoot. doctor told me at least 90% of people over estimate( especially men) their height by 2-3 inches. if 5'9 is the US average how the fukk are all these nikkas 6'2+? also just lmao at women thinking they know how tall their boyfriends are. of course to a women who is 5'0-5'6 anything over 5'9 will be tall. plus dudes lie! always funny when some dude is bragging to a chick about being 6'0-6'1 when they are like half an inch taller than me
