A lot of R&B singers are boring as fukk and doing the same shyt over and over again, then they blame their race.
Wiz's friend that had a billion views on their video and perhaps pop single of 2015 after Adele's shyt, just did much less than a wild dude like Kevin Gates.

Certain cacs move more units cause they are white, but there's plenty of white cats with good reviews that haven't moved any units. There's too many black people moving units to blame it on that. Tank shyt sounds the same all the time, he gets wack reviews, he's 40 years old (which white 40 year old singer, that's been out for 20 years is doing those #s :skip:).

I'm tired of those old ass rnb dudes complaining when their shyt is light, just cause you have a voice doesn't mean that you can make good music let alone hit songs.
he never said he would move records if he was white
did you even watch the interview?

i think it would hurt me if Jamie foxx aka Wanda had more music success than me. Yet Tank is clearly the better singer. How does that happen though? the better singer sings backup. happens all the time

I did not watch this interview, but I've heard it before from a lot of these :flabbynsick: R&B singers that can't move units.
And someone summarized it in the 3rd or 4th post so I assumed that it was a  interview.

Tank always has great interviews cuz he's chill and doesn't have a big ego
And that summary was wrong, he was more criticizing the black community for not "creating our own stars"

who was the last STAR in R and B that WE created? im thinking Usher. Mary j and R kelly came out before Usher.
It's pretty impossible for black people to create something on their own, since black, white, yellow and everyone else has access to the same blogs, venues and on. Cacs have not created anyone on their "own" either cause black, yellow, brown people fukked with those white artists too. So the whole stance is stupid. If they blow up or receive nice reviews, the people fukking with them will be diverse.

There's few artists that only attract one race, and if they do that's due to their location as in Young Jeezy coming up in the hood clubs and black strip clubs in the south but some months later he was Ryan Phelps warm up music. With the internet, it's impossible. So thinking "pre-internet" days, I would say John Legend and Keyshia Cole, that would be his come up but as soon as they reached fame people from all over the world got included. We have people like Nicki that came up in the hood in NY, then some hoods down south but as soon as she hit the wider net we had 10 year old white "barbies" included in her fanbase.

There are artists that has a higher percentage of black fans than others like August, but I won't go as far as saying that strictly black people made him. Same with Trey Songz. K Michelle, might strictly have black fans though :mjlol:

i dont know. There were a few artists in R and b who went platinum who i still believe had an all black fanbase. Now this is my opinion but ill name some artists that i think had an all black fanbase.

1. Keith sweat first 2 albums. White people didnt get into him until Twisted. I bet you white people never heard of make it last forever

2. Gerald levert or Levert-

3. freddie jackson. im sure there are more than this.
