it gets no more useful than this thing. You can fly, you can kill dudes with the tail, and that statue transformation?

its EASILY the goat powerup in a game. What compares? The first time you seen the "bear" suit (as a kid you ain't know what a tanooki was ) you were .... ..... .... status for real

Super Mario Bros 3 had me on some emotional roller coasters. Getting that, the hammer suit, and frog suit had you doing everything possible to not get that brush and lose ya powers

ya know whats weird...you were like TOO POWERFUL and TOO FAST when you got all the chaos emeralds...super sonic kind of took away the fun a little bit of the game if that makes sense...you DID get crazy levels of reaction though the first time you did it

There has to be a remix of that somewhere. Imagine an orchestra performing that piff. Gonna have nikkas ducking in front of mailboxes to avoid the cannon fire, and cartwheeling snowflakes think they koopa blades spinning in the air.

Remember seeing that first koopa ready to throw hands, and not being able to just hit the switch on the bridge??? I wasn't ready for those problems

for me when I got it, i just became REALLY...REALLY CAREFUL to NOT LOSE IT....i'd keep it for whole worlds and stuff

Hold up, the frog suit was that piff

not having to mash the jump button to swim everywhere

using a star + frog suit to swim through bodying everything

swimming through jet streams into secret areas full of extra lives and coins

beating the world 8 airships with it

SMB3 is still one of the best platformers ever made IMO. Sonic 2, Sonic 3+Knuckles, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 2, Mega Man X, and Castlevania IV are the only real competition that I've played.
But real talk, the shoe was the GOAT powerup in that game
