really not trying to bash dude's wife...just that his statement was so kewn-ish and unnecessary. like he couldve said what he said and left the white part out. like "I met my wife here, and I am proud of that" no one needed to know his wife was white, but as I said, I bumped into them about 13-14 years ago so I already knew.

Bad look, but I wonder how long Hubert will be the coach.

Especially if UNC is average for a few years and if Duke is better than them.

they won’t have much patience with him, they didn’t with Matt Doherty. I guess that’s why he is c00nin in advance.

I think Hubert will get more leeway than Doherty did. Doherty was about to run the program into the ground with Felton, May and McCants being unhappy and possibly transferring. If they'd have left no telling how bad or would've gotten. But he won't get a lot, though.

I haven't gone back and watched his press conference, the reactions from this forum and dudes like Chris Broussard and Bomani Jones was enough feedback for me.

Above the fray.

.
The pressure got to Doherty.
I remember him cracking under the pressure and yelling at Duke players during some incident. Duke player had to push him out of his personal space.

If he lost his composure like that in public, imagine the behind the scenes behavior that led to starters wanting to transfer.

I remember that incident, and I rode with Doherty on it because it was initially Chris Collins who he was beefing with; there was a play where Raymond Felton got hurt on a play by Dirtay Jones (surprise surprise), and Collins had taken it upon himself to start talking noise to Rashad McCants. Doherty stepped to him to tell him not to talk to his players, and then Andre Buckner shoved him out the way. He ultimately needed to go because he had lost the locker room, but this incident was not it; he was well within his rights to tell the opposing assistant coach to go sit all the way down.

Thanks.
I think I might have seen the previous incident that they made reference to in the broadcast.

I only root for Duke when their starting point guard is from NJ, other than that I can't stand Duke.
