Exactly,her acting was Tubi quality in Baby Boy. So her expecting to get a blockbuster off that is crazy
Hustle and Flow is the movie that really made her who she is. And that role was smaller than her role in Baby Boy. So it's crazy how things work sometimes. She must have just been fukked over money wise I'm assuming. Because she's had a great career from my point of view.

One thing you are overlooking by comparing this to a conservative topics reddit.
Is the fact that she had to act like a black man was undeserving of his success in order to comment on where she feels she should be career wise.
All the same struggles she is having, black male actors have as well. Its her white counter parts that have it easy and are generally overpaid. Not Tyrese.
No need to drag other black people down to make your point. The comparison to his career was unnecessary and its really the entirety of the reason why the responses are the way they are. Had she compared herself to Blake Lively instead, the entire narrative would be different.
