Calling a movie the greatest 21st century film if not for a certain actor sounds like hating to me.
Dano played his role well. I enjoyed No country for old men film better, but both movies in the year 2007 felt so different from the rest. Really amazing experience and it's those type of movies that you are going to watch more than once to get the whole experience.
Tarantino meanwhile was falling off in the 00s already. Kill Bill series and Inglorious Basterds had the same exact "seek revenge" formula. Then followed by Django which was exactly the same formula again!

Tarantino has never been a "films" guy, if you actually watch some of the stuff he recommends is the shyt channels played on sundays when they had no programing.
