Targets brand is built off of social awareness, thry backtracking has done nothing but acrually hurt their brand.
I agree but...
I think the LGBQ children's line was inappropriate and they deserved the blowback from that. Sexuality and children should never go together.
I think their pull back of DEI was a trama response from the children's line.
They obviously don't really have a firm grasps on who their customers are. They misinterpreted their customer base and assumed that their customers were more conservative than what they are.
They, obviously, also don't understand the social issues that are important to their customers.
Just a complete fail over all. If they want to be social activist they need to understand their customers better...much better.
