take it for whats it worth, but I recently worked with a navy woman who said they had the tech to listen in through devices since the 90's and had "alarm" words that would alert them if said aloud

going into paranoid territory, but it aint out f the question for google, amazon, facebook products to have passive listening for data purposes. to sell your data or more precisely market to you

You mean two companies that have wake words and one built into the os?

All smart devices with a mic are passive listening, but the truth of the matter really is that targeted advertising is incredibly good and intrusive.

Since most people don't care or even click the link about cookies to see what they actually are - majority of us have giving up privacy for convenience as we're tracked from site to site and they have1000s of metrics from mouse finger/placement to scroll speed etc.

It's not even like any of this is hidden information. I heard "data is the new gold rush" back in undergrad, shyt had me like word? :lupe:.

When I tell people that shyt, they give me the Jada face. We don't need to microchip you or any of that goofy ass shyt.

You mother fukkers will just give up your information freely. :mjlol: People don't even care anymore.

Data is beautiful :blessed:
Right. Like bruh. Rather than think that app you accepted without reading is tracking your phone, nah let’s believe they can read your mind :martin:

People are just arrogantly ignorantly. Reminds me of the Mandela effect. Rather than admit you misremember something, nah it’s a grand conspiracy that ‘they’ have gone back and changed historical records :beli:

Breh, this is absolutely wild. Thanks for sharing it as I wasn't aware of this phenomenon as I'm quite disconnected from the mainstream and its trends.

For those that don't know the app is designed to break you out of your usual routine by using quantum mechanics to send you to a random location based on your intent. Some who tried it found themselves in a trap house, in places where very strange "coincidences" occur, receiving anonymous texts that seem sketchy and (most famously) finding two chopped up bodies in a suitcase.

Has anyone on The Coli used this app? There are some good stories and happy accidents beyond the hype but this interview makes it seem super sketch with a poisoned pencil:

First off the creators didn't go on camera themselves, they sent someone media friendly to garner simp attention who doesn't even have the app installed on her phone.

Part of me thinks this is like those old chain letters back in the day slipped into a new dress via tech for modern generations to get drawn in and the other is wondering if there is some high alchemical process in effect whilst another is pondering the possibility if this is a great way to get people killed via exploiting their free will as curious cats or snitching on the opps whilst leaving no fingerprints you did cos off went Richie Cunningham and his friends directly to where the stash house is exactly when the drop is happening. Great way to hide hits in a mist of misses and the whole thing is perfectly designed to go viral. The logo symbolism is quite telling... As is the fact it popped up during lockdown so it may just be a psyop to test who is non compliant and yet compliant in another sense. So much intrigue!

Either way an interesting share and something to look into even though it all screams of priming and psychology based on fear like those old chain letters did back when.

Quite simply these apps and phones are listening. Even tv has listening feature such as Vizio tvs. Then the data is sold like for apps that scan your face or take your pictures.

Wild that you have to go in your TV’s settings and tell it to not spy on you. I don’t even use the “smart” features of the TV for that reason.

As far as these phones, the best beneficial app should be something that disables all of the privacy and location tracking options on the device and apps install. It’s damn near impossible to prevent these apps from tracking you to some degree unless you just don’t have apps on the device outside of the stock ones
