You ever heard of a film series called Zeitgeist?
yes, have you ever heard of a strawman argument? zeitgeist had no exclusive interviews, it's one guy speaking over random clips.

so i'll ask you what i asked him, why dont YOU make us a free documentary?

I'd love for you to explain how me bring up Zeitgeist constituted a "straw man" argument, especially since I highly doubt few if anyone featured in any of the Hidden Colors films was paid for their interviews.

it's a strawman argument because you're bringing up something irrelevant to the discussion.

you think people like nas, umar johnson, david banner, dikk gregory, paul mooney, shahrazad ali and frances cress welsing are giving their time and interviews for free? :laff: why? why would that do that? how about you try to get those interviews setup and see if they'll do it out of the kindness of their hearts. what about the airline tickets, cameras, editting, copyrighted images, etc -- those are free as well, right? :pachaha:

why you dudes so quick to spend money elsewhere if you believe the HC series is something that's needed?

nikka got an AV with some jordans talkin bout what should be free :mjlol:

But why charge black people to watch educational videos about history?

Nobody criticized Tariq for wearing Polo & his girl having Louis Vuitton Bag's and supporting cac fashion.

I have never met a militant in my life who funds and supports white fashion like Polo or Louis Vuitton.

Me thinks one doesn't know the definition of a straw man:

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:
  1. Person A has position X.
  2. Person B presents position Y (which is a distorted version of X).
  3. Person B attacks position Y.
  4. Therefore X is false/incorrect/flawed.
This sort of "reasoning" is fallacious because attacking a distorted version of a position simply does not constitute an attack on the position itself. One might as well expect an attack on a poor drawing of a person to hurt the person.

Me bringing up a free documentary series (that actually did feature interviews in it) certainly doesn't equal a "straw man" argument

i asked a poster why HE doesn't make us a free documentary, and you posted about a random documentary that's irrelevant to the discussion. i never said there weren't free documentaries, i asked why @Truth200 doesn't make us one. once again, STRAWMANNING.

why pay over 200 for some ugly ass shoes that's not educational or beneficial for black people? you rather waste money for something you dont need, then demand something you need for free? how much sense does that make to you?

why don't you to link up and make us a free documentary? no excuses, what's taking y'all so long

edit: and i'm not talking about cutting and pasting a bunch of random clips with you bum nikkas narrating. go out and travel to get us some exclusive interviews. get a HD camera, don't use ya cellphones, ya bums, and make sure it's edited neatly for us.

Now that's a strawman right there...:usure:

I'm just saying why does Tariq charge black people for history and support white fashion like Polo & Louis Vuitton?

i already answered your question, because they aren't free to make. if you believe people should spend their time and energy working on documentaries just to give it away for free, where is yours? why aren't you in the process of making one right now?

and why does it matter what tariq purchases? i'm sure he isn't going in the store saying they should give it away for free

they hate the idea of a black man that's getting money :heh: shyt is pathetic. spending 200+ on some jordans that cost 3 dollars to make, but wont support another black mans film project.
