As I said in the last thread, Tommy was spending months bragging about the fact he raised 30k and then talking shyt to posters saying what's up with the documentary and they wanted they money back. Thus is the part some of you Tommy defenders keep missing. So instead of tariq seeing him in the streets, he handled it the right way. You don't get to take my money, boast about getting the money, not come through on what you said you needed the money for, send sub shots at me after I helped you, then out of "black unity" I'm supposed to let that slide. Plus Tommy a c00n, black unity code don't apply to him anyway.

He's not an activist either. He's a dude who used his platform (the mack lessons radio show) to make a documentary he thought was important.

Someone on the coli said it best. He's a basically a nikka on the coli who made a popular documentary and does a weekly ustream show and podcast.

Anything else is people putting that responsibility on him without his consent.

Yeah, he started off as an author, started doing weekly podcasts, started selling merch (cologne, glasses, clothes, etc) and now he's the hidden colors guy.

Honestly the argument came from Tommy's side first. He would make little comments here and there about Tariq. People would mention it on his show and Tariq would say he has no beef with Tommy. Eventually Tommy started saying Tariq was a fraud for not mentioning the Jews in Hidden Colors, then Tariq decided to give him that work.

Personally I appreciate the fukkery. If the internet existed in the 60's, you already know Martin and Malcolm would have been going at it

When the fukk did he say he was a leader? Dude is a business man and an activist voice. He's doing him and putting out educational product on stuff that we won't get in the US school system. Like what was the last documentary that really covered the black experience. If you a kid in schools these days you are LUCKY if your teacher pops in an Eyes on the Prize VHS.

At least Hidden Colors is something new and not the same MLK/Rosa Parks stuff that gets pushed every February.
