I’m not homophobic in any regard.

But I think that Lil Nas X is promoting toxic ass gay culture. Shyt like incredibly oversexualized promiscuity with zero emphasis on safe sex. Especially with how badly HIV affects young black gay men who look up to figures like him and think they have to be incredibly sexualized just because they like men.

But to me the real issue is the promotion of femininity in regards to the black male image. There’s no counterbalance. It’s just as extreme as hell when it comes to black men. You’re either a flaming gay dude sukking dikk and humping on everything. Or you’re a sociopathic killer with zero emotions and hundreds of bodies. And the hustle rappers talking about million dollar watches and private jets ain’t too much better either.

Where are the strong masculine figures (that aren’t thugs, hustlers, or serial killers) that black men can look up to in the media? Especially in music.

I feel like someone like Khalid is prolly only one out of less than a handful of artists who are actually normal dudes promoting non-problematic music+imagery. Young black boys need to see brehs like him actually representing them.

Imagery is so important.

But you know who this gay black rapper is

Tariq is saying it's an agenda .. plus this aint nothing new . Some Gay Willie Lynch shyt imo smh

They be having this Lil Wack Gay X .. all in commercials and popping bussy prime time award shows .. right dab in the middle of the show .
Im not checking for his lil gay azz either but Media is stuffing him down everyones throat :dame: so everyone knows who he is and thats he's black and hella gay . Why ?

Every genre of music is wrapped around beautiful sexy women and a lot of them have demeaning womanizing lyrics .. Even some women engage and sell this to the masses .

Dont mean its right .. But why we only seeing gay black men so much , so often now on TV and Media and Music is the question and is it a bigger agenda ?

i just looked up statistics on their representation and found it on a glaad annual study.. the percentage is for black men & black women, they still top out at 30%.

lil nas X got these rich white homophobic execs pushing gay imagery mainstream....

the shareholders of these companies are the same ones who donate money to right wing politicians..

who legislate against the very same content they make their money off....

let that boy be gay and great

LOL okay that black Americans are the only gay ones. If it makes you feel any better about yourself.

Go to the islands & start preaching homosexuality to the black masses and see how far you get.

Go make a music video about homosexual prisoners & see how much love you receive.

Go put boots on the ground, interact with the people, and ask them their thoughts on the subject.

Go tell them "I heard on Wikipedia"

You'll be seen as a laughing stock.

I suggest you get your information from the people - directly from the source.

Not your smartphone.

Folks seemingly seek dudes videos out as so they can have sum'n to be outraged about when they already know what type of time he on. I don't get it.
That’s the thing. You don’t need to have been searching for it. If you’re on social media, it’s gonna find its way to you.

The real issue is lil nas being seen as part of hip hop
pretty sure he's considered pop. I think old town even charted country after protest.

as for the 'he keeps throwing it in our faces' not really. you can simply not click. reverse the roles. can gays be upset that p*ssy/WAP is continuously thrown in their face? or perhaps gays are more open minded or know to pick and choose what they click. you cant click something then get upset you clicked it. in physical form, it would be like me telling you theres gay sex behind that door, and you open it, then complain they keep throwing it at you. thats not how it works.
