A few things:
-This one seems to be more focused(like the title says) on racism, and how over the years black people have been treated and have reached a point in America and the world where we are all treated the same
-People here are missing the point by talking about whether or not Tariq should be charging for the documentary, the production values, etc. These are pointless concerns, why are not more people speculating on what kind of content will be in the documentary? It looks like its a movie that will focus more on historical injustices and an analysis of racism itself rather than a discussion of the global history of dark skinned/melanated/black people.
-Nothing in the trailer has suggested that historical inaccuracies will be in place, so I don't know where this discussion is coming from, furthermore, supposing there are some accuracies, the point of the documentary is to empower the community psychologically. Even if you have to bullshyt, the point is to encourage black people to see themselves in a more positive light. A lot of history is not written or well documented, and a lot of our artifacts and shyt have been destroyed. This is not speculation, this is a fact.
-Making your own documentary won't cost you a lot of $. If coli critics are more concerned with learning than throwing salt, then get a kickstarter page going and fund a doc. If everyone here contributed $5 each it would be funded in a matter of hours.
