I don't buy into that 'post-racial' bullshyt. There is no data to suggest America is a post-racial society in any way. There are issues unique to the AA community that haven't been remedied since slavery and Jim Crow that will require solutions specific to AAs.
AAs have every right to be skeptical of people who don't come from their backgrounds to care enough to address their needs, since that's the way it's been for literally centuries, right? I don't care if you think that's "reverse racism" or "identity politics".
Get your head out of your ass, race is a huge factor in every facet of American life.
