My understanding was the donations were just to purchase the property.
As the museum was never advertised as being free its safe to assume ongoing revenue will be needed to keep it operational. I didn't watch the video yet but if there is evidence that the property cost way less than what was donated then

Personally it’s not hard to see Tariq is all about money…. Everything he offers require some sort of money.

I was literally just watching a video about this guy that gathered data on all these people on the internet that sell dreams. He concluded that the first time somebody mentions selling a course, a book, or anything else asking for money; run! Because they aren’t trying to give you anything of value, which is also my experience over DECADES of internet usage
