To operate a non-profit, whether it's a school or a museum, raising funds for operations will be an ongoing effort.

People giving money for a school or museum to be built, that money will be used to build or acquire the property, get everything up to code, and get it running. But that money is not a one and done thing, sufficient enough to cover the ongoing operations.

You still have the day to day operations that need to be accounted for. Non-profits have to typically hire developmental directors and CFO's whose roles are to seek out funding from the state and federal government, grants from private foundations and corporations, and donations from the general public, to keep their organizations running.

If Tariq and Umar were fiscally responsible and raised enough money to be able to build their respective projects by their respective deadlines, and allocated the money right, they still would have to raise money for continual operations. That's what's all non-profit organizations have to do.

The issue Tariq will have, if he's doing this right, is that because of the nature of the content of his museum, he might have traditional avenues of funding cut off from him. State and Federal Grant monies, grants given by foundations and corporations, all give to museums. But museums operate within a code of ethics that they have to abide by to receive funding. One of those codes is adhering to strict academic scholarship, and unfortunately, if his museum is based off his hidden colors documentary, he's going to have a hard time proving that his museum abides by that.

Who is going to give funding to an organization that claims that there was a queen of the state of California who was black and that pre-Roman Africa was called Alkebulan without any serious scholarship behind it. He would be basically be trying to solicit grants to propagate misinformation and falsehoods, and funders are not going to go for that.
Thanks for this because you said everything I was about to.

Museums and other things of that ilk are largely maintained through government subsidiary and or philanthropic interests.

Not begging an underclass for donations

My understanding was the donations were just to purchase the property.
As the museum was never advertised as being free its safe to assume ongoing revenue will be needed to keep it operational. I didn't watch the video yet but if there is evidence that the property cost way less than what was donated then :patrice:

This is also why the Dr.Umar school doesn't make sense even if he eventually gets it functional. Where will the ongoing funding come from
Every museum gets donation or they wouldn't stay in business, what are we doing

Tariq obviously doing something right to have so many people upset and doing investigative journalism. Tariq gets them more upset than actual scammers, Nazis and white supremacists.

Tariq ain’t out here making empty promises like all church preachers. He delivers on what he proposes to do.

People are more upset at his message of delineation they just won’t say it. Yes getting FBA on code is one of the most powerful things any person has done in the last couple decades.
