I don't think I've ever seen Tariq win a debate. He's not good at thinking on his feet I think. Strange because he has a show where he talks off the dome for hours at a time.
Not sure how he can improve really, maybe expand his audience and allow ppl who may disagree to call in.

And btw a debate isn't necessarily won on nuanced understanding of facts. It's who makes better arguments and forces the other debater into corners and shyt like that.
If a cac says cacs are naturally smarter then argues that many more have won a Fields Medal compared to blacks....you need to be able to counter that somehow. . he's a game spitter and not a bad one, but when thrown in environments where he can't control the narrative, he looks horrible.

The problem with so-called black people like you is that you’re too quick to give credence to white people’s bullshyt. Why are s critiquing Tariq’s response to a bullshyt “point” instead of calling out the bullshyt? First of all India is in Asia so Indians are Asians. More importantly tho, just because Asians make more money on average than whites doesn’t negate that there is a system of white supremacy in America. Asians are less than 5% of the American population and who controls how many Asians are allowed in the country? White people, that’s who. Whites can decide tomorrow that they don’t want Asians to earn more than they do and that in fact they want Asians to leave America. So this idea that Asians are some examples that whites don’t have a system in place to ensure they’re ultimate superiority is such a silly argument that it shouldn’t even be taken seriously.

I’ll say it again, all the people in here low key siding with Taylor and his side of the “debate” are white supremacist themselves. It’s not even about tariq.

Remember the movie "Thank you for Smoking?" Aaron Eckhart's character breaks down how debate works in this manner. You keep your opponent off base by setting rhetorical minefields and logic traps. You make them hang themselves with their own rope. Tariq wasn't ready for this, and it showed.



This is how Cam'ron and Dame bodied O'Reilly. They showed how this well dressed rich white guy couldn't handle himself when pressed by black men from the hood and turned him into an angry sputtering wreck on his own show. People don't realize that African-Americans are in the position we are in because the US Government (a white supremacist entity) has decided that we will be the bottom class. A better debater like Cornel West, HL Gates, Ta-Nehisi Coates, etc would have bodied Taylor.

This is why it’s almost impossible to have productive discussions here. Unfortunately I’ve got to tell you like I just told the other poster.....you’re either utterly stupid or you’re trolling. I’m not even trying to insult you just to insult you, it really has to be either or.

You say that you aren’t “cheerleading”, then turn right around and say that Taylor won the debate. Well saying that he won the debate is what I mean by “cheerleading”. Debates are about people taking an opposing side/take of a particular issue and who’s able to prove their side/take better. To say that Taylor won means to agree with his side and his arguments supporting his side. Don’t run from that with that cowardly “it ain’t about who right.....” bullshyt. Just acknowledge that you agree with Taylor.

Tariq’s position was right/correct and Taylor was simply trolling to deflect. He didn’t “poke holes” in Tariq’s position because Tariq’s position was absolutely true. Taylor’s “well what about Asians.....” argument was some simpleminded troll shyt and it’s telling that so many of you here are so impressed with it. There are no Asian countries that are completely from up underneath the thumb of white supremacy. Not even China.

Again, the fact that y’all give credence to Taylor’s argument is evidence that you don’t fully acknowledge the reality of systematic global white supremacy, and that you probably harbor feelings of black inferiority.
