Riq is getting money from someone. The amount of times he double backed on his own statements and the blanket characterization of other black/African folks in his purview is nasty work.

I say it as someone who listened to him quite a bit until 2017, and started listening to him in his earliest days before most people knew him. He changed, and not in a way that shows enlightenment. When you lack integrity like that, you're getting a check cut from somewhere.

Thing is, people change and movements shift.

Can’t look at Obama now the same way people did in 2008

I used to be a big Tariq fan but he’s too ignorant on too many things for me to ignore, but that doesn’t mean he’s not “sincere” about where he stands on issues.

I think this attempt to put everything as apart of a scandal or conspiracy undermines the real challenge in refuting or debating the merits of the argument themselves. If he’s wrong, let’s show why or how. Just labeling it and hoping that the threat of calling someone out shuts them down is insecurity and weakness.

Idk if they are getting state department cash but white supremacist billionaires are definitely funding their stuff

Tariq is obviously on someone's payroll. He's a chaos agent and nothing more. You would have to be a fool to follow someone like that.

he just addressed this and one of his last videos he made …. If anything professor smalls would be CIA or getting paid to make these Pan African statements.

At the end of the day, why would America invest money and time into a person who is pushing FBA delineation movement?
because the more motivated and stronger, the movement becomes America is then gonna have to address one of its pivotal questions since it’s inception of reparations

Dog, you post too much on so many random political topics to be this naive. Read some of your own content, people are being paid off left and right on the left and/but mostly the right.

There might be more blatant and outright corruption now than even the gilded age.

Have you read a book outside of elementary school?

No offense brother but the fact that you dont understand why the cia would anti pan Africanism is emblematic of the culture of stupidity running amok among some of our people

We have proof some people got paid but not others. Just speculating on people being paid off without evidence is reckless and disrespects sincere debates.

Plus, it’s easier to pay people off who ALREADY hold some of the views you want amplified.

Espionage and sabotage works best when you already have people willing to join you or agree with you

I'm not saying he's government funded, because yeah there might be an actual movement to look into reparations. And if it's not from someone who doesn't work for the government, they could care less if the movement restarts. Reparations aren't going to happen if there isn't a large enough coalition to support the movement.

It could be a thinktank, Leonard Leo, or thousand other shady multimillionaires. But there's reasons to break up movements who have similar interests. I mean, one of the arguments for MLK's assassination is not because he was talking about civil rights, it happened when he started talking about socialism. By having FBA and the broader diaspora 45 million strong, that is a movement that could create political change.

And I'm not saying Tariq doesn't believe what he says. The way he goes about it is wildly intellectually dishonest and at this point not even worth engaging in any serious manner.
