I felt compelled to reply to u since u color coded things for me. For what it's worth I have no desire to date or sex anything non black. I just firmly believe that those that do shouldn't have to feel like their doing something "wrong"

Ours? Where's the copyright? And who gets paid whenever the song comes on?

Unless a black owned corporation completed a hostile takeover that I don't know about, Universal Music Group owns that song and any royalties associated therewith.

Peace

Yes, where is the copyright? And that's half the reason why we tend to look down our own creation because we never see any benefit but for some strange reasons others seems to profit. :martin:

I agree with him to an extent

Its not our expressiveness that's an issue, its when we do it at the behest of white people for entertainment/acceptance that is a problem.
As if we cannot communicate without some sing-song dance bullshyt.

Look at Hillary Clinton

I'm Nigerian, we dance all the time.
-Church
-Wakes
-Funerals

Basically times when everyone else would be solemn or serious. And we make no apologies for it. So he can FOH with telling Africans not to dance :camby:

But let a white man come up to me and say "Show me how to shoki :gladbron:"

:snoop:

And that goes for everyone whippin and nae-nae'ing for these cacs too

TL;DR: Be expressive if you want, have fun if you want, but be mindful of the company you keep and if you are being used or not.

He not saying don't dance, just don't spend all day dancing when you getting your ass beat by white supremacy. Unless your career/hustle is around dancing, it's not a good look to be just taking vids/pics of you dancing.

He doesn't start off saying don't dance, but he eventually gets there and hones in on Africa... which is a completely different situation than America.

That's when I started to have an issue with it cuz he's clearly talking out of his ass at that point.

Black women aren't required to pursue black men over white men, or even acknowledge them over white men. Black women's bodies and attractions belong to them and them along. Get away from this idea that you have "dibs" on the black woman's sexuality or that she can/should only pursue a non black after the black man has given her permission
Every race don't want to see their women with men of other races but only when black men act like this somehow it become wrong :mjlol:.

I resent the idea that black people aren't allowed to have "fun" or enjoy ourselves in public. I think it's a mindset that's difficult to get rid of because we face so many daily attrocities I.e. racism, underemployment, over incarceration, etc. So there's this undrlying idea that we aren't entitled to fun until all our woes r resolved. But that's an unfair burden to place on someone. Black ppl are just as entitled to have to a good time as anyone else. We can laugh, joke, dance, goof off, be loud and silly as we see fit and regardless of whose around. Who is this guy or anyone else to take away or condemn someone for trying to have a good time. The pursuit of happiness is a human and God given right and black ppl deserve that just as much as anybody else, if not more.

Naw fukk that, black people are too concerned with b.s. Even in threads where people ask about moving to certain cities, the first concern is, "What's the night life like...ohhhh...I can't move there because the CLUBS close at 2am". Mufukka what about the education, business and opportunities. So many NYers talking but they can't leave the city because of the "fun" there.

Black people are like the grasshopper in the Ant and Grasshopper parable. It's why we're fukked up now, because things don't change. While white supremacy was about business and conquering, Africans were probably dancing and talking but the new sneakers. I know some of them got on that boat thinking they were headed to new clubs...guarantee.

You have fun AFTER you've taken care of business and built something. The white race can afford to have fun now, they've conquered the world. We need to be about our militancy and get something done.

So the exact same can be said for him right? Or because he makes money and is resourceful, it's ok for him to lollygag.

Whats good with y'all Internet special snowflake nikkas? Who the fukk really dancing all day outside of them you got served types and young cats? This why y'all dudes be looking like try hard to much exaggeration.

@The Wave this is the stuff I was talking about in the last thread. Cats make some kids dancing like everybody they see in their day to day practicing dance moves like they in some dance video. shyt don't even match with reality.
