I could understand the hate if Romney was some dude with a strong history of blatantly racist words/actions against blacks, but as far as I know that's not the case. Romney more represents the "I want more money because I'm of a certain class" aspect of the Republican party than the actual "we don't mess with the coloreds" part....so why is it such a major sin for a rich black woman like her to support him? I damn sure don't agree with it, but I don't hate her for it or think she hates herself because of it

I imagine the only thing she was hoping to accomplish was to express her opinion and her support of a candidate, like everyone else gets to do. It seems unfair that everyone else gets to wear Obama T-shirts yet she has to be a Repub-in-hiding, just because it might offend some idiots who think she should be supporting Obama mainly because he's black like her (whether some of them want to admit that or not)

Of course, everyone is guaranteed to get a bit of criticism from SOMEONE when it comes to their political beliefs; that's just how it is....but the hate she got was significantly higher than most people/celebs who expressed support for Romney. And I highly doubt the backlash would have been as bad if she was white, or if the Democrat she chose not to support was white.

As for the bolded....that's almost like saying someone is a pedo because they like Michael Jackson's music. Just like how Romney MAY be racist due to being a Republican, Mike MAY have been a pedo for hanging around with kids all the time, getting in trouble with the law twice and saying it's OK for a kid to sleep in a strange man's bed. Does that mean people can't think he was one of the GOAT entertainers? Just because some other people think he was a pedo (which was never undeniably proven/admitted)?

Maybe those persons just simply think he's one of the best singers/dancers/entertainers of all time....and nothing else. And maybe Stacey Dash just thinks Romney can do an overall better job of leading the country than Obama....and nothing else.

People have the freedom to have an opinion on who she supports, but when they start calling her a self-hating koon for it, then it stops just being an opinion and it starts being blind criticism/hate. As far as I'm concerned, they're just as bad as the racist whites who call Obama the n-word and 'monkey', instead of just sticking to the facts and saying why they think he's a bad president.

Tariq is kinda soft though. Dude was dissing her through the whole video and as soon as she called him "ignorant" (which he is), he wanted to get mad about "name calling" He's so catty.

She has a point as on the idea that people ("those people") cry foul wayyyy too much in the black community to the point where it falls on death ears when something is of real concern. Tariq was trying to switch her words up to make a point (extrapolating "those people" to somehow "all black people") when that's not what she said. That's why it's kinda hard to discuss things/hear his words logically. It's like he has a mental block or like he just refuses to understand some thing. She wasn't saying "you nikkas are messing it up for me and white folks", she was only saying that the concerns of the black community become "diluted" when we have so many voices trying to make a public revolution out of every damn thing.

We don't have to make ourselves out to be the victim who is being held down in every situation because that sets a mentality in itself. White people, generally do not care, in that fashion, we don't have to keep trying to get them to understand our story/history/etc.

Also Tariq ain't even in no black "secret societies", let alone Jack & Jill. nikkas always tryna speak on stuff they don't know anything about.

But seriously .....regardless of whatever the general Mormon attitude is towards blacks, I was talking about Romney's PERSONAL words and actions. Just because you're associated with/you claim a political party or religion, doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna follow every single rule of that party/religion, or do everything they're known to do, or believe everything they're generally known to believe

Plenty of people claim to be Christians yet they don't go to church regularly, don't pray often, they steal, kill, dislike people of certain races, have sex before marriage, cheat while married, etc.
