Tariq Nasheed fans, how do y'all explain him completely stopping talking about reparations now Trump is in office?

The crazy part is... reparations would only come thru a judge's order.
And guess who appoints the judges? The President, confirmed by the Senate.

so, yes and no. you’re right to point out that the judiciary would play a role since a shyt ton of legal challenges and disputes would likely arise from this. but when it comes to any sort of compensation/restitution from the federal government the ultimate authority lies with congress :hubie:. they alone hold that power. which is why it’s maddening when i hear bad faith actors like tariq floating the idea that a president has some mythical/unilateral ability to “cut the check”. but, hey, my people perish for lack of knowledge and all that …

If a judge ordered any cash pay out, the Congress would have to abide by it just like any other established law.

But it's all water under the bridge since Neo-Negroes act like voting for Democratic candidates is some boring elderly practice. ALL Dems support reparations even tho they can't say so.

:francis: No they don’t because they are scared it will cost them elections. Everytime it comes up them hem and haw about it and no one gets shyt. We can’t even get reparation for black wall street at this point because black democrats don’t really treat this like it is part of the black agenda. If we did, reparations would have a better chance by default.

Dont get me wrong Democrats are way better than Republicans who rather we were all dead or slaves again. However, democrats sure as hell been dropping the ball On this and it’s partly our fault. We don’t push for this as a people. Tariq is a fringe media personality at best and is leading the charge on this.

The Democrats have been pretending to be friends of black people for years. So putting the pressure on them made sense. However we have to remember that these politicians are only emboldened to do things that their donors or constituents pay them to do. No Democrat is going to put energy into reparations because by the time they get to the mainstream they were already bought and paid for. And if elected they will do what they were paid to do. That’s why most of these establishment politicians are useless. Kamala had she won would’ve been pushing for the things her lobbyists wanted. Just like Trump is doing now.

Currently the Republicans are in power and that same energy towards the Democrats when it comes to reparations needs to be spent on the Republicans. Neither side are pro reparations anyways so whomever is in power needs to be held accountable if we are really neutral…
They aren't asking/shaming/pandering for our votes, as they don't need them.

Democrats are gonna need FBA votes more than ever to dig themselves out of this hole. The immigrant vote they counted on will continue to shrink as net migration plummets. If you can no longer offer US citizenship for future votes. What exactly do you have left to run on?
:jbhmm:

US may see net loss in immigration for the first time in 50 years
