Seriously, there are too many people questioning why we should vote, but not one of you are offering more realistic solutions on how to change things.

This I can't relate to cats like this anymore, I use to try to have a discussion but I stopped a while back.

There are people that generally want to push the needle even if it is a smidgen amount to improve their lives and their people that are just content with not improving. Not voting and not voting locally or not even writing in some probably is one of the most irresponsible things an adult can do.

Either way, let them cook!

Tariq is not well versed in politics at all
He is seriously underestimating how much the Republicans want our Black asses back in chains and the lengths they'll go through to do it.
If you wanna look at as both sides as villains, Democrats are Snidely Whiplash, Republicans are Thanos.
For every liberal racist like Bloomberg, you have 5 dopes like Andrew Yang.
Mfs like McConnell are dangerous, and he knows how to lead.
Republicans put their differences aside and fall in line quick
That is a very bad thing for us.
Look at how Reagan reversed all of the progress of the civil rights movement.
He literally tried to kill us with crack and the mfs who werent hooked, he was gonna jail the rest.
He put his foot in our asses and he is revered as a god in the GOP. He is their template.
Politics is the final frontier for us, until we learn it and master it, we're stuck
The thing about not voting is that someone is still going to win regardless
Not liking the candidates who are running is our fault
You have to cultivate the candidates that you want
Anyone who equates the DNC and the GOP as the same doesn't know what they're talking about
Furthermore, we have to realize that we're not done after we vote
It's up to us to keep the elected officials on a short leash and keep them in check
If your Democrat elected official practiced benign neglect with you it is because you let them.
Voting and then leaving the rest up to chance is self-sabotage.
I think the new Black media is absolutely right about tangibles. We need to demand tangible from those who want our vote.
However, "no tangibles, no vote" doesn't actively do anything for us.
So what if the Dems never promise us tangibles, or promise us tangibles then switch up on us once elected?
Then what? Do we just leave ourselves in the hands of the GOP to do whatever the fukk they want to us?
How does that help us?
